The following shake is a great post-workout, breakfast or anytime drink. If you’re in the midst of summer in your country (that is a stupid statement if you live in the UK like me!), this shake is a perfect cooldown, just add some ice cubes. This shake can be Gluten Free if you use Gluten-Free oats. It is also Dairy Free (protein powder contains virtually no lactose), and most importantly, it is delicious!
Sweet Cherry Oat Shake
Half cup of rolled oats soaked in hot water (add hot water to just cover them, leave for 1 minute, leave longer if you want it cooler)
Handful of cherries (frozen will do)
Half an avocado
1 Scoop protein powder (Vanilla is good, but so is cherries and chocolate… mmmm.)
Water (add to desire thickness)
1.Wiz together in a blender and enjoy!
