3 Simple But Powerful Ideas for Peak Performance

Today I want to cover 3 simple and phenomenal ideas that can make an impact on your life right now so let’s get started.

The first idea I want to present is:

A Daily Moment of Silence

“Silence is a source of great strength.”
– Lao Tzu

I believe we should set aside time every day to be in silence.

I prefer to be up and outside if possible before the city wakes up (around 4 or 5 am) but you can decide upon whatever works best for you.

The purpose of the silence is to calm our minds and to feel the flow of our bodies and the universe.

I also use my quiet time to be grateful for my existence and ultimately it gives me peace in the now moment.

You can choose 15 minutes, 30 minutes, however long is suitable for you.

This quiet time can include daily meditation, creative thinking, and/or time for reflection.  To harness the peak power of your creative energies, this silence is critical.

Time block your calendar every day to have your silence and you will be on the road to fine tuning a sound mind.

The next golden idea that affects the performance of our minds is:

Nutrition and Clean Energy

It is our duty to consciously determine what to eat and what NOT to eat.

These eating decisions directly affect our mental and physical performance.

Be mindful of what you eat and how much of it you eat.

To utilize the full strength of our minds and bodies, we have to stay fed with clean energy (fruits, vegetables, vitamins, etc.), stay hydrated with water, and practice daily exercise.

These elements genuinely affect our bottom line effort and performance so I would suggest building an accountability partnership or even leveraging the power of technology.

For instance, I am currently using Habitica to support my daily exercise and to-do tasks such as eating my daily serving of vegetables and drinking 8 cups of water.

Eating healthy, drinking more water, exercising daily, and getting 6-8 hours of sleep is common knowledge but it is not common practice because discipline is required.

Be the exception and harness clean energy to maintain a clear head so you can focus on being your best Now.

This thought brings me to my last idea:

Now is Our Moment

“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.”

– Eckhart Tolle

Living in the present moment, with all the previously mentioned elements combined, will make way for a harmonious lifestyle.

The past is something you cannot alter and the future has not been given to us yet so we must achieve our fullest potential and go all out everyday!  Celebrate your life and enjoy the moment.

Thanks for reading, have an a superb day!
