Haiku Poems – The Sound of Nature

The penultimate haiku poem, of my 7 day run of these simplistic lines. This is poem number 6, and it is about the sound of Mother Nature. She speaks to us all the time, it’s just that we either don’t hear her words, fail to recognize them, or we are just take no notice. So next time you’re out and about, make a point to listen to the mother. The beautiful songs of the skylarks. The crashing of the river currents against the dam wall. The whistling of the wind…

The Sound of Nature

A tree branch,

a wood pigeon cooing,

nature speaks.
